Maria and Mom [Easter dinner 2002]

I lost my mom in January 2005 at the age of 64. Her death has had a profound impact on my life. Her teddy bear, Cubby sleeps above my head watching over me like I envision my mom watching over me from heaven. That thought gives me solace. My life was changed forever when I lost her. I remember her spirit and her child like wonder and often dance in her memory.

My mother loved to dance. I think I get my child-like wonder from her. This was a tribute to her memory, and her joy of life.
